Job Description

A well-established community hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its growing respiratory care team. This modern acute-care facility offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, advanced medical technology, and a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care. Full-Time | Days or Nights | Rotating Weekends What You'll Do As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering life-saving respiratory care and supporting patients through both routine treatment and critical situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient respiratory status through physical examination, breath sound interpretation, and airway evaluation Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance treatments Initiate, monitor, and adjust invasive and noninvasive ventilation Assist with artificial airway placement and respond to respiratory emergencies Provide respiratory care across emergency, critical care, and acute care settings Support newborn stabilization during deliveries when needed Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment Maintain respiratory equipment, ensure proper cleaning, and follow infection control standards Safely transport ventilated patients when necessary Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligible)
BLS / CPR
certification required within 30 days of hire Associate degree, certificate, or vocational training in Respiratory Therapy What Makes This Opportunity Special?
