Qualifications:

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state licensure or eligibility for Vermont Experience in acute care and/or critical care settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS certificates (preferred or as required by facility) Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments

Responsibilities:

Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory disorders and compromised cardiopulmonary function Administer therapeutic procedures such as oxygen therapy, airway management, and ventilator care Educate patients and their families about procedures and care plans Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans Document patient progress and perform regularly scheduled assessments Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment
