As a Respiratory Therapist in this travel assignment, you'll play a critical role in patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will work with both inpatients and outpatients, following established protocols to deliver exemplary cardiopulmonary services in a supportive, forward-thinking setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (length discussed at placement) Expect varied shifts typical for travel roles; schedule specifics provided during the hiring process
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services as per established protocols Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures Manage airways and ventilators Administer medicated aerosols and medical gases Conduct pulmonary function studies, arterial line insertions, intubations, and cardiopulmonary stress tests Obtain and analyze blood gases Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist through the NBRC Active Washington State RT license ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association) Previous experience with clinical EMR systems preferred Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
