Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment - flexible scheduling
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions Administer treatments, therapies, and diagnostic tests as prescribed by physicians Monitor and record patients' responses to therapy, making modifications as necessary Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members Educate patients and their families on respiratory care strategies and equipment usage Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Preferred Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid state license (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills Strong commitment to patient-centered care
