Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the beautiful Soldotna, AK area! This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals in a school-based setting, helping students achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible SLP license for the state (Alaska) Experience in school settings is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with IEPs CCC-SLP preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Complete assessments, progress reports, and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success Attend and participate in IEP meetings and team discussions Offer support and resources to educational staff regarding students' communication needs This contract role presents a unique chance to broaden your clinical skills while exploring a friendly, supportive school community surrounded by the natural beauty of Alaska.
