A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Abbeville, AL, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity from July 31, 2026, to May 27, 2027. This part-time role requires availability 2-3 days per week, supporting approximately 50 students with diverse speech and language needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Monitor and document student progress to adjust therapy as needed. Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.

Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Previous experience working in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students with varied speech and language disorders.
