Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position designed for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who is eager to make a difference within a supportive school environment. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain certification for work in schools Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Essential Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities utilizing standardized tools and observation techniques Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and educational goals Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school regulations Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student's success Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team sessions Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize outcomes This contract opportunity allows you to work within a vibrant, inclusive school setting where your impact resonates well beyond the classroom.
