Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) In-Person | Jefferson County, AL Schools Make a lasting impact—one student voice at a time. We're looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join a dynamic school-based team in Jefferson County, Alabama . If you're driven to help students find their voice, build confidence, and thrive academically, this is the role for you! ?? What You'll Do As a School-Based SLP, you'll play a vital role in student success by: Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations Developing and implementing individualized plans of care Providing direct therapy services in alignment with physician orders and IEP goals Documenting progress and services accurately and consistently Collaborating with educators, families, and school staff to support student growth ? Minimum Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Alabama CCC-SLP preferred (and may be required by state or contract) Compliance with all professional standards of practice Current CPR certification , if applicable TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray), if applicable Current health certificate , per contract or state regulation Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements 18 years of age or older ??
