Job Description

Position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. A unique opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to provide essential support within a school setting in Cullman, AL. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with students requiring speech and language services, contributing to their educational development and communication success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students under supervision during the CFY. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective treatment plans. Conduct assessments and document students' progress in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Participate in professional development and ongoing clinical training to meet CFY requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Eligible for or currently holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent initial licensure enabling CFY placement. Passion for working with school-age children and adolescents in an educational environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to adhere to state and federal educational guidelines.
