Full Job Description Pay Rate:
Based on work schedule availability, previous experience, and if candidate is interested in Part Time or Full-Time position.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients with various conditions, such as communication disorders, swallowing difficulties, and cognitive impairments
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
Experience:
  • Must have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy.
  • Experience working with patients in a pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with case management principles and practices
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Detail-oriented approach to accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
