School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Huntsville, Alabama Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Huntsville, AL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 19 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working closely with educators and families.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities through formal and informal assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support each student's progress Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP team meetings Deliver services onsite across multiple age groups, with caseload specifics determined during the interview process
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working in a school environment strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and thrive in a dynamic educational setting This position offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, from July 27, 2026, to May 28, 2027.
