Speech Language Pathologist in Huntsville, AL BlazerJobs - 3.4 Huntsville, AL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 12 hours ago Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a fulfilling contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students during the 2026/27 academic year. This onsite opportunity, located near Huntsville, AL, offers the chance to make a positive, direct impact in school settings. Work with a dedicated educational team as you leverage your expertise in speech-language pathology to empower children's communication skills and academic success. Multiple positions are available, and while specific caseloads will be discussed during your interview, you'll enjoy the support of experienced colleagues and a school environment committed to student growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based speech therapy services Prior experience in educational or pediatric SLP settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Availability for full-time (35 hours per week), onsite engagement from July 27, 2026, to May 28, 2027
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough and timely documentation per school and regulatory requirements Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
