The ideal candidate for this position has experience in pediatric settings and will both assist in the treatment of young patients and consult with parents about their child's development. Our customer is looking for a speech language pathologist who is interested both in delivering therapy services and providing quality communication training to parents who are having trouble communicating with their children.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat individuals with voice, speech, language, cognitive, pediatric dysphagia, and feeding disorders. Treat disorders that affect speech, language and swallowing such as autism spectrum disorder., auditory processing disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental apraxia of speech (CAS), expressive-receptive language disorder., fluency disorders., mixed receptive-expressive language disorder, pediatric dysphagia, feeding disorders Provide parent/caregiver education Job will begin as a part time position with the potential to grow into a full time position.
