Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students from Pre K through 8th grade in a dynamic contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time speech-language pathology opportunity is based onsite and offers a blend of meaningful, hands-on work and schedule flexibility. You'll have the chance to provide crucial services in both articulation and language development, collaborating with dedicated educators and families in an engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience or enthusiasm for working in school-based settings Comfortable serving caseloads ranging from Pre K-8th grade Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for assigned students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Deliver direct therapy services onsite 16-24 hours per week Maintain thorough records and contribute to evaluations and progress reporting Participate in team meetings and consult with families, teachers, and support staff Employ creative therapy approaches adapted to diverse learning needs Take advantage of a part-time schedule, supporting a healthy balance between career and personal commitments.
