Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing vital speech-language therapy services in a dynamic school environment for the full 2026-2027 academic year. A dedicated professional is needed to deliver support and intervention to students onsite at a supportive educational facility, with opportunities to specify grade-level preference and potential flexibility for virtual work later in the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license TCERT certification required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred School-based SLP experience is highly valued Comfortable adapting to a range of grade levels and caseload sizes Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to participate in virtual interviews via
Zoom Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate closely with special education and general education teams, as well as families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Adjust therapy approaches to accommodate student needs across grade levels Embrace potential opportunities for remote service delivery, as available later in the contract period
