Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in school-based therapy preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Compassion and adaptability when working with diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized measures Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Provide direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' educational goals Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and student progress Support generalization of communication skills within the school environment
