Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? A rewarding contract opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC and school-based experience. Starting August 2026 through May 2027, this full-time onsite role offers the chance to support students throughout the upcoming academic year. Both full-time and part-time availability are being considered, so you can choose the schedule that fits your career goals. Located near the Roanoke, AL area, you'll collaborate with a team of educators and professionals dedicated to student growth. The specific caseload details will be shared soon, but flexibility and a commitment to high-quality care are essential.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs Evaluate, diagnose, and document communication disorders Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
