Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language services to elementary students in a supportive educational setting near Spanish Fort, AL. This on-site, full-time position is ideal for Speech Language Pathologists (CCC) passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children from kindergarten through 5th grade. The assignment begins August 10, 2026, and concludes on May 26, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 35 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services for K-5th grade students, addressing a variety of communication needs Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress according to school and district guidelines Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student success Maintain accurate, timely records and complete necessary administrative responsibilities Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Serve three elementary campuses (locations will be finalized by mid-June 2026) Ensure compliance with all district and state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA State licensure and registration with the Board of Speech Examiners Demonstrated experience working with school-age children strongly preferred Ability to present all required credentials and licenses prior to assignment start Effective communication, organizational, and time-management skills Open to candidates seeking onsite roles and those with
