Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact supporting students' communication growth for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity is located near Springville, AL, with the primary focus on providing speech-language services within a school setting. You'll partner closely with educators and families to deliver evidence-based interventions and evaluations, tailoring support to individual student needs. The onsite role may transition to virtual support toward the end of May if needed, and there is flexibility to consider your caseload or grade-level preferences.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license TCERT certification required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred Experience providing services in a school environment strongly desired Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills Adaptable, positive, and ready to support learners of all backgrounds
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students (onsite, with potential for virtual provision) Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation Use evidence-based practices to support students' academic and social success Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations as part of the multidisciplinary team Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
