Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a school setting in Alexander, AR. This contract position calls for a skilled professional dedicated to supporting students' communication and language development in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to promote communicative success Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Provide guidance and resources to support classroom accommodations and modifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working within K-12 school environments Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
