Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise will empower children and adolescents with special needs to communicate confidently and effectively. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders across diverse pediatric populations. Your passion for patient care and dedication to early intervention will make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients and their families. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a supportive environment committed to excellence and growth. This position is microschool based. You would create your own schedule. This clinic also provides ABA services. You will work closely with BCBAs and RBTs to ensure each client receives the best care plan. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing challenges in pediatric patients. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on improving communication skills and swallowing functions. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques suited for early intervention and school-aged children. Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure cohesive patient care and optimal therapy outcomes. Monitor progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness and patient engagement. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with clinical standards. Educate families on therapy goals, home exercises, and strategies to support continued progress outside of sessions. Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to pediatrics and early intervention programs. Familiarity with physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments using medical terminology and diagnostic tools. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating families effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practices.
