Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to enrich student lives in a dynamic onsite role supporting early learners. This full-time opportunity involves working with preschool and Child Find programs, helping to identify and serve children with communication needs at a pivotal stage. The role is structured as a contract position beginning in August and extending through the academic year, providing you with a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact within a school community.
Required Qualifications & Licensure:
Active Arizona State Speech-Language Pathology License Valid SLP Educator Certificate Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills Experience working with preschoolers and/or early childhood assessment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool and Child Find referrals Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans to address student goals Collaborate with general and special education teams, as well as families, to ensure integrated support Manage a caseload that may range from 30-60 students, depending on distribution of evaluation and therapy duties Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
