Job Description

Job Summary At A Guiding Light Services, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings. In this role, you will help members improve communication, language development, and swallowing function to enhance independence and quality of life. You will work within Arizona's Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) system, collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver meaningful, person-centered outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with PCSP (Person-Centered Service Plans) Provide therapy focused on: Expressive and receptive language Articulation and phonology Social/pragmatic communication Feeding and swallowing (if applicable) Deliver services in home and community-based environments Collaborate with: Families and caregivers Support coordinators Interdisciplinary therapy teams Educate caregivers on communication strategies and home programming Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with DDD and AHCCCS standards Complete progress reports, reassessments, and required clinical documentation Participate in member-specific training and care coordination meetings Minimum Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathologist License through the Arizona Department of Health Services Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) Active NPI (Type 1) Ability to obtain or maintain AHCCCS provider enrollment under Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain) Ability to pass DDD-required background checks (Central Registry / APS) Required Certifications (DDD Compliance) Article 9 Certification (required for all DDD providers) CPR Certification (infant, child, and adult; hands-on) Completion of DDD onboarding and member-specific training Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Familiarity with the Arizona DDD system and HCBS services Experience with pediatric populations or early intervention Knowledge of AAC devices and communication systems Experience with feeding and swallowing therapy (preferred but not required) Strong documentation and time management skills Work Environment Flexible scheduling Home and community-based service delivery Collaborative, mission-driven team Opportunity to grow with expanding therapy services Why Join A Guiding Light Services? Pay:
$45.78 - $80.00 per hour
