Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting communication and learning needs this upcoming fall! With a contract Speech Language Pathologist opportunity, you'll provide direct and indirect speech services within a supportive school environment from August 3, 2026, through October 9, 2026. This full-time, maternity leave coverage offers guaranteed hours, professional growth, and the chance to positively impact students near Glendale, AZ—without the expectation of additional district duties outside contracted hours.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP licensure in Arizona or eligibility for licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or SLP-CFY considered Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and collaboration Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students, both direct and indirect Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a variety of communication disorders Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain organized and timely records to support student growth and compliance requirements Provide support during the school day within your contracted hours only—no bus duty or drop-off/pickup required
