Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschool-aged children as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based contract role. Based onsite near Glendale, AZ, this full-time position offers a blend of responsibilities serving both Preschool and Child Find programs for the upcoming academic year. Your expertise will help students develop essential communication skills through individualized interventions and comprehensive evaluations. With three openings available, caseloads are thoughtfully distributed - some SLPs manage a higher number of evaluations with a smaller ongoing caseload, while others oversee a larger group of students with fewer new assessments.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Arizona State Speech-Language Pathology License SLP Educator Certificate IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior school-based or pediatric experience appreciated Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse early elementary caseload Conduct thorough assessments and participate in eligibility determination for Child Find Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal standards This position allows you to make a tangible impact within a welcoming school community.
