Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Make a meaningful impact supporting students with autism in a vibrant K-8 educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) places you at the heart of a specialized program designed to help students thrive. With a manageable caseload of around 50 students, you'll focus on innovative, evidence-based practices to foster communication growth and social development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC or eligibility; new graduates completing a CFY are encouraged to apply State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Experience with pediatric populations—especially in K-8 or school-based settings Background in autism support within educational programs Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and models of delivery Strong collaborative and communication skills Ability to adapt approaches for individualized learning needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and consultative therapy, both in-person and via teletherapy, as needed Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support academic and social-emotional growth Deliver professional guidance to staff regarding best practices in autism communication support Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state standards Enjoy a rewarding role where your expertise uplifts students, shapes futures, and inspires positive change.
