Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - 26/27 SY

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

Job Description:

Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools•Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Contract through the 2026/2027 school year•37.50 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Pay:

$1,987•$2,175/

Weekly Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a similar program.

National and state certifications:

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services. Must be able to obtain, and hold, a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Certs:

(AHA) BLS required. Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check & Drug Screen). Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education. Willingness to participate in events outside normal hours, travel as needed, and engage actively in the role.

Essential Functions:

Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success. Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports. Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems. Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals. Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
