Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK-8th grade students in a dynamic school-based setting near Yuma, AZ. We're searching for a dedicated, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about helping students reach their communication goals. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families, impacting students' learning experiences from the very start of the school year through the end.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Possess a valid Arizona SLP license Arizona Educator Certificate is required IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is current and active Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to identified students from PreK through 8th grade Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress Manage and adjust therapy interventions based on student data and evolving needs Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all local and state regulations Consult and provide resources for staff and parents regarding student communication and language needs
