Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting preschool students and providing essential services to a vibrant school community. Utilize your expertise to help children develop vital communication skills and contribute positively to their academic and social growth. In this role, you'll engage with preschool-aged children, complete thorough speech and language assessments, and deliver individualized therapy. Your knowledge will also be instrumental in assessing students in private and nonpublic school settings, ensuring every child's needs are addressed with care and professionalism.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current California SLP licensure or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) Previous experience working with early childhood/preschool populations preferred Strong ability to conduct assessments and develop effective treatment plans Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool-aged children Provide direct and consultative SLP services to a diverse student population Assess students from private and nonpublic schools as assigned Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's needs Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines This part-time (0.5 FTE) opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference while enjoying flexibility in your schedule. Compensation for this rewarding position ranges from $55 to $75 per hour, reflecting your skillset and dedication.
