Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in a lead, supervisory role . This position focuses on overseeing and supporting SLPAs , managing caseloads, and ensuring high-quality service delivery, with minimal direct therapy responsibilities . This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys collaboration, and program oversight while maintaining a strong clinical impact within a school-based setting. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in accordance with California and ASHA guidelines. Oversee caseload management, including IEPs, assessments, and compliance . Conduct initial evaluations, triennial assessments, and contribute to eligibility determinations. Participate in and lead IEP meetings , collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Monitor service delivery to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to student goals . Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding speech and language strategies in the classroom. Review documentation and ensure timely, accurate completion of reports and service logs. Support program development and contribute to best practices across school sites. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active California SLP license. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience in a school-based setting , including IEP development and assessments. Prior experience supervising or mentoring SLPAs preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
