13 Weeks Schedule Monday - Friday Day Shift No Weekend Requirement No On-Call Requirement Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a hybrid Inpatient and Outpatient role within an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently with adult patients and possess strong swallowing and communication assessment skills, including the ability to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS). Required Qualifications Active California Speech-Language Pathology License Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) BLS Certification Minimum 3 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience Ability to work independently in both inpatient and outpatient settings Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals Provide swallowing assessments and dysphagia management Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home programs Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation teams, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care activities Patient Population Adult Acute Care Patients Adult Outpatient Rehabilitation Patients Clinical Skills Dysphagia Evaluation and Treatment Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) Cognitive-Communication Therapy Speech and Language Therapy Voice Therapy Patient and Family Education Treatment Planning and Goal Development Interdisciplinary Care Coordination For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
