Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders under the supervision of Required Professional Experience/Clinical Fellow (RPE/CFY) supervisors. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Preferred Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:
Required Essential Functions:
Serves as a department role model and clinical resource. Maintains and advances professional knowledge and experience through continual educational opportunities. Assists in department operations, as requested by managers. Ensures patient, visitor and staff safety. Identifies and reports potential hazards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to plan, implement, evaluate and revise individualized patient care and discharge plans, based on patient medical record. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
