Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting preschool-aged learners for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This part-time contract opportunity (0.5 FTE) focuses on making a meaningful difference each day, working with a diverse group of students across public, private, and nonpublic school settings. Your expertise will be key in fostering early development and ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CFY) Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Knowledge of the school-based evaluation and intervention process Strong ability to conduct assessments across a range of student backgrounds, including private and nonpublic schools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool students, as well as those in private and nonpublic school environments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with educational staff and families Deliver targeted speech and language therapy, adapting approaches to diverse learning needs Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state standards
