Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Berkeley, CA, serving the Vallejo City USD from now through June 11, 2026, with the potential for the next school year as well. This full-time, onsite position involves working approximately 37.5 hours per week within a school setting, supporting students from preschool through post-secondary levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across multiple age groups Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and implement therapy plans Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district regulations Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and school staff
Qualifications:
Masters Degree or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology Valid CTC credential Active State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working within school systems preferred Strong organizational and communication skills This position offers valuable experience within a supportive educational environment, focusing exclusively on onsite service delivery with no virtual support option. The caseload includes diverse student populations, though some specifics are to be determined.
