This full-time position, located in the vibrant Berkeley, CA area, seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentialing to deliver both case management and direct therapy services in a supportive school environment. Whether you're a travel professional or seeking a local contract, your expertise can help shape students' communication and learning success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure (or eligibility) for California Previous experience delivering speech therapy in K-12 settings preferred Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to handle varied caseloads and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain rigorous documentation Manage IEP caseloads and participate in IEP meetings with educators and families Consult with teachers and staff to support in-class communication strategies Monitor student progress and adjust interventions for optimal development Maintain professional partnerships with school personnel and families This contract offers flexibility for both local and travel professionals, along with compensation ranging from $55 to $70 per hour, determined by your experience and expertise.
