Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' communication needs in a welcoming school environment near Brentwood, CA. We're seeking two dynamic Speech-Language Pathologists—one for a part-time schedule, one full-time—to serve a caseload of approximately 30 students. As part of a collaborative team, you'll empower students to find their voice through high-quality assessments and individualized intervention.
What We're Looking For:
Valid California SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload Confidence with IEP documentation and meeting participation
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and observations Develop, update, and maintain IEPs and progress reports in compliance with federal and state guidelines Provide engaging direct therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals Lead and participate in IEP meetings, working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams Attend Student Study Team (SST) meetings and offer expertise as needed Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure integrated service delivery Track student progress and adjust treatment plans proactively Stay up-to-date with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
