Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact supporting students' communication skills in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity places you in a pivotal Speech Language Pathologist role serving two school sites and working with students in TK through 6th grade. The assignment spans the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 school years, with an immediate start through June 11, 2026, and summer session from June 17, 2026, to July 17, 2026. The following academic year resumes in early August and runs through the end of the school year. In this position, you will address a range of communication needs—including mild articulation challenges, mild to moderate disabilities with language deficits, and some augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support.
Ideal Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with pediatric/school-age populations Familiarity with school-based assessment and intervention strategies Comfort supporting students with mild articulation and mild-moderate language deficits Knowledge of AAC devices and communication strategies Strong teamwork and communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students with diverse needs Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families for optimal student progress Support the development and implementation of IEPs, including required documentation Serve two school sites, balancing caseload and travel as needed This opportunity provides a rewarding chance to enhance student success—professionally grow while making a meaningful difference.
