Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract We are seeking multiple full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 school year to support students from PreK through 8th grade. These contract opportunities are based in Carlsbad, CA, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on children's communication skills and academic success in a dynamic school setting.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students ranging from PreK to 8th grade. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide direct therapy to students, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials to work in a school setting. Experience working with children in a school environment, preferably across a range of grade levels (PreK-8th). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families. Ability to design engaging therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
