Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Soliant Education is seeking a full time Speech Language Pathologist near Palm Springs, CA. This full-time contract position is primarily focused on PreK students and is ideal for professionals eager to contribute their expertise on-site for the remainder of the school year with the opportunity for annual renewal. The district values dedicated individuals who are passionate about fostering student success and committed to meaningful, long-term service.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF) California Certificate of Clearance (COC) required Bilingual Spanish skills highly preferred, though qualified monolingual candidates are welcome Prior experience working in schools or with SEIS systems is advantageous Familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation preferred Comfortable serving a caseload of mostly mild-to-moderate, with some severe needs, and experience with AAC devices a plus Willingness to serve in an itinerant capacity as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to PreK students Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain compliant documentation Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and families Support students with diverse communication needs using evidence-based practices Travel to multiple school sites within the district if required
Compensation Details:
Weekly Paychecks Hourly Pay Rate:
