Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a new contract opportunity designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a strong background in supporting students in school settings. The focus is on delivering personalized care and collaborating with educators to enhance communication skills among young learners.
Essential Qualifications:
Holds a valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience working in school-based settings Deep understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and their implementation Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Adaptability and resourcefulness in managing a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities to determine needs Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans within the school environment Maintain thorough and accurate student records in compliance with school and state guidelines Prepare and participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and documentation as required Consult with classroom teachers to integrate therapy strategies into daily learning activities Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve measurable goals This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in students' educational journeys.
