Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' speech and language growth in a school-based contract role near Chowchilla, CA. This opportunity is tailored for talented Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), who are passionate about fostering communication skills among children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students presenting with speech, language, or communication challenges Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs Provide engaging therapy sessions aimed at achieving targeted speech and language outcomes Thoroughly monitor, document, and report on student progress Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team Actively involve and educate families to support therapy goals at home and in the community
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative educational team This contract position offers not only professional fulfillment but also access to a dedicated advisory team comprised of experienced SLPs in your state, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way.
