Speech Tree Therapy Center is on the lookout for passionate, part-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to join our dynamic team! If you believe therapy should be fun, functional, and family-centered, then let's talk! Part-Time Pediatric SLP (Afternoons Only!) We are seeking a talented therapist to dedicate their afternoons to our incredible clients and their families at our San Diego and Eastlake-Chula Vista locations. This role is perfect for someone looking for consistent, meaningful part-time hours in a supportive private practice setting. Home based therapy may also be an option.
Your Mission:
Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to a diverse group of pediatric clients, from infants to young adults. Master the art of our family-centered approach by involving caregivers and providing education so the communication magic continues at home. Design and implement individualized treatment plans and use evidence-based techniques to help children reach their full potential. Collaborate with our hardworking team, family members, and outside providers to ensure the best possible outcomes. What You Need to
Be Our Next Team Member:
You must hold a current, valid California State SLP License (or be processing it).
The Credentials:
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Bilingual skills are a major plus! If you can speak two languages, you can serve twice the families! As our pediatric speech language pathologist, you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapy techniques to provide goal-directed therapy to children in individual and group settings
  • Collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress, and goals Our ideal candidate will have:
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • A current or in process California state license in Speech-Language Pathology or the ability to obtain one
  • A passion for working with children and families, and the ability to establish rapport with clients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Fantastic collaboration skills and willingness to be a team player
