Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting students at a vibrant elementary and preschool site. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required), you'll be an integral part of helping young learners thrive—focusing on developing speech, language, and communication skills in a collaborative and resource-rich environment.
Highlights of this opportunity:
Contract spans from August 17, 2026, to June 4, 2027, ensuring consistent impact throughout the academic year.
Two distinct roles available:
support for an elementary caseload of 55 students and a preschool caseload of 40 students. Both positions are 35 hours per week, following a consistent 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily schedule, with a half-hour lunch. Work at a single welcoming site, making it easy to build meaningful relationships with students, teachers, and families. The preschool position offers some hybrid flexibility, though a strong preference is given to in-person engagement, allowing for a blend of professional autonomy and classroom connection.
Desired qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC credential. Previous experience working with elementary and/or preschool-aged children in a school setting. Excellent communication skills with the desire to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting. Ability to manage individualized caseloads and documentation efficiently. Compassion, patience, and creativity in tailoring interventions to student needs.

Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide direct speech/language therapy. Monitor progress and maintain accurate records. Consult with teachers and families to ensure holistic support for each student. Participate in IEP meetings and professional development relevant to your role. If guiding young learners on their communication journey excites you, don't miss this chance to make a difference.
