Early Childhood Education (ECE) Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Concord, California Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Concord, CA Job Details Contract $45 - $95 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Working with individuals with speech impairments Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role centers on supporting students ranging from early childhood (Pre K) through high school, allowing you to make a difference in lives at every stage of development. As a valued professional, your expertise in pediatric and school settings will help address speech, language, and communication challenges. Working closely with students in grades K-5, 6-8, 9-12, as well as early childhood and elementary settings, you'll collaborate with educators and families to create impactful intervention plans. Your day-to-day will be engaging and varied, as you help students achieve academic and personal success.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current SLP license (or eligibility) for practice in the state Previous experience with pediatric populations, ideally within school environments Familiarity with speech and language interventions across multiple age groups (Pre
K, K-5, 6-8, 9-12
) Ability to develop and implement IEPs individually and as part of a team Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with students, staff, and parents Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders Develop, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to students of varying ages and abilities Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for optimal student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports This contract role provides the chance to work near the vibrant Concord, CA area, with a schedule that supports work-life balance and meaningful professional relationships.
