Speech-Language Pathologist

About Us At SkyAbove Therapy, we are dedicated to connecting passionate special education professionals with the schools and students who need them most. We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for an immediate opening a school. The Position This is a full-time, 100% on-site position at a single campus. You will be stepping into a highly manageable and well-structured environment for the remainder of the current school year, with a strong possibility of extension for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Highlights:

Single Site:

No driving between campuses; you will be based entirely at one school

Excellent Caseload:

Total caseload of approximately 55 high school students.

Low Case Management:

You will be the primary case manager for fewer than 10 students , significantly reducing your IEP administrative workload!

Start Date:

ASAP through the end of the current school year (with the opportunity to renew for next year).

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for high school students. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs. Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) in accordance with IEP goals. Manage a small subset of IEPs (under 10 students) including scheduling and leading meetings. Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Active California Speech-Language Pathology License. Previous experience in a school setting Must be available to work on-site Why SkyAbove Therapy?
