Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact supporting students' communication abilities throughout the full school year in this rewarding contract opportunity. Work alongside dedicated educators in a vibrant school setting, utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to help students develop confidence and essential skills.
Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience providing SLP support in educational or pediatric settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP process, evaluations, and therapy documentation Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students of varying ages Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students' IEP goals Provide engaging individual and group therapy sessions to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication concerns Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Offer consultation and resources to classroom staff to foster language-rich environments Maintain compliance with state and federal education requirements
