Pre K Pediatric Speech Therapist in Daly City, CA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Daly City, CA Job Details Contract $45 - $95 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Working with individuals with speech impairments Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference working with students through a contract opportunity supporting speech and language development across a variety of age groups. This dynamic position involves collaboration with educators, families, and fellow support professionals to foster communication skills in diverse school environments, from pre-kindergarten to high school. Bring your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology to early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings, contributing to individualized education and growth for each student. This role emphasizes flexibility and engagement, with every day presenting new opportunities to impact students at multiple grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Knowledge and experience in working with pediatric populations across various grades, including Pre K, K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 Understanding of the unique needs of early childhood and school-age children Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Comfortable working in both individual and group settings with students from diverse backgroundsResponsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct SLP services to students Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support students' speech and language needs Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals Adapt interventions for different grade levels to ensure student success Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Stay informed about best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology This contract position enables you to utilize your skills in various school environments, while building valuable partnerships and supporting student achievement.
