Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting located in Earlimart, CA. This role offers the opportunity to support pediatric students with communication and speech development challenges, contributing to their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor and promote student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and healthcare regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations. Support students through evidence-based therapy techniques in individual and group settings.Qualifications and Experience:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA. Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California. Experience working in pediatric healthcare, schools, or pediatric facilities. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those early in their professional journey. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working within educational environments.Location:
