Pediatric SLP CFY in Elk Grove, CA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Elk Grove, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $35.75 - $42.00 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) SLPA License Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school-based setting. This full-time contract position supports local schools in the vicinity of Elk Grove, CA, with itinerant assignments and paid travel between sites. Ideal candidates will work closely with students, educators, and families to help improve communication skills and support academic success.
Key Qualifications/Desired Experience:
California SLP license required (SLP, CFY, or SLPA) Experience with school-based, teletherapy, or healthcare SLP services Familiarity with IEP systems; training is typically provided Strong organizational skills for managing caseload/workload models Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate communicator and skilled problem-solver Flexibility to travel between school locations as neededPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students individually or in groups Document progress and maintain compliance with IEP requirements Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to support student success Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Provide or receive supervision as required, based on discipline and licensure Support district initiatives and engage in ongoing training provided by the districtPerks and Benefits:
