Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech-language services within a supportive school district, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade across two locations in Encinitas, CA. This contract position offers a chance to positively impact student communication development in an engaging educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License (CA SLP License) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience in school settings is strongly preferred but not required A strong interest in school-based speech therapy and a passion for supporting students' communication goals Preference given to candidates demonstrating dedication to student success and clinical excellence
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting speech and language evaluations for students K-12 Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with district and state guidelines Delivering services at two school locations within the district

Encinitas, CA Contract position, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week Student age group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
